Fiolkowsky, Nikolay Passed away suddenly at Northumberland Hills Hospital on Friday Dec 23 2016 in his 93rd year. Nikolay was a World War II veteran at the age of 16. Nikolay endured many challenges and hardships during the war, but despite these hardships he was never bitter or mean spirited, but a cheerful, kind and generous man who made everyone he met his friend. His smile was always present and he loved life. His home was always open to all and he loved his family, his wife and grandchildren. Nothing was ever too much trouble, if he was asked to do anything he was always there with a smile. It pleased him to help others and to be needed. He will be dearly missed by his wife Valentina, his daughters: Malise, Tais, Justina (husband David), son Julian (wife Lori-anne). He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren: Rebecca, Hannah, Alina, Marley, Greg (wife Lori), Simon, Aaron, Max, Jack, James and Malem.
