Dear Ruth & Kellogg family, and Lamb family, my condolences. So glad you and James got these years together. My memories go back to the Lamb/Hetz cottages & visits to Don & Jenny's Lamb's place or other family gathering, when we were kids back in late 1960/early 1970s, but also to finding you that you and Jim were together a dozen or so years ago, and one visit to the Kellogg farm around that time. I have known Jim for more then 20 years and feel very sad that his presence is no long with us. I feel blessed that my daughter was able to work together with him providing her also with valuable advice along with wonderful farm live work ethics. Hoping also the fond memories will comfort his family and friends. May you rest in peace Jim.

Dear Ruth and family. My condolences on the loss of Jim but I am so thankful he got to spend his last days at Ed’s House as he wished. Your lives will change but you are surrounded by so many friends. I will miss seeing Jim around the farm I know he loved. I, too, loved all the great photos, I know he loved those grandchildren. RIP. One of my favourite photos of my younger brother Jimmy as I called him for his short 60 years of life. He worked so hard as a farm boy from the time he could walk. He loved his farms and all the animals that him and Ruth looked after. Ruth you were a great wife to Jim and he adored you and those little grandchildren you both love. He will be missed by many but is no longer in such terrible pain. Thanks to Ed’s house for the care and for all the friends and families that supported Jimmy over the past months. Rip brother until we meet again. Xo xo

Our thoughts and deepest sympathies go out to Ruth and the rest of the family. Jim took a great deal of pride in his farm and the crops that he grew. He was hard working and dedicated to making sure that the farm was kept to a high standard and always went the extra mile to keep the crops and land in peak condition. As a customer, Jim was sure to let you know if something was done wrong on the farm, but he also made sure that you knew when he was pleased with a job well done often throwing in a basket of fresh picked berries or some sweet corn as an extra "thanks". We all had a great deal of respect for Jim and we will miss his visits to the office and seeing him in the fields as we pass by. Michael Buttar and the Staff of TCO Agromart Ltd. Cobourg branch
