We lived on Brown Street and shared many stories over a cup of Tim’s coffee. Here is one. Doug’s granddaughter about 12 was on a bus trip to Leafs practice at York University. When she was waiting in line for an autograph a recent Canadians trade walked right by. She yelled out I’m a Leafs fan I was only getting yours for my Gramps. Many players stopped to sign her book after that!
To the entire Workman family. Doug was great and loyal fan to all local sports. Always there to support and cheer on the teams. I am very sorry to hear about Doug’s passing. RIP Doug.
