Obituary of Daphne Lynn Gibson

Peacefully, with her family by her side, Daphne Gibson passed away at Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg on January 21, 2025, at the age of 57.

A loving and dedicated mother, she leaves behind her children, Geoffrey (Danielle) Ruytenbeek and Katrina (late Thomas) Ruytenbeek, as well as her cherished grandson, Gordon Boehm. Daphne is survived by her siblings, Jennifer (Darryl) Fadden, Tara (Joe) Leone, and James (Kristy) Gibson. She will also be deeply missed by her faithful companions, Bentley and Kenobi.

Daphne will be deeply missed but will live on in the hearts of those she touched so profoundly.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill St N, Port Hope, ON, on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by a celebration of her life at 12:00 PM.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and support staff at Northumberland Hills Hospital for their compassionate care of both Daphne and her loved ones.
