On the morning of May 8th, 2025, Marlene slipped away on her own terms after a two month stay at Peterborough Regional Health Center.

She leaves behind Randy, the love of her life and 42.5 years of marriage. Her loving memories are carried on in her daughter Jennifer (son-in-law Adam), her son James (partner Valerie), brother Lloyd (April), sister Barbara and many nieces and nephews. She was welcomed with open arms by her late parents Howard and Marion Moore. 

The family would like to thank all the amazing staff at PRHC, specifically inpatient units B3 and D2 for their continued love, support and care they provided not only Marlene in her time there but the family as well.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 15 from 10am - 12pm noon, followed by a brief service at 12pm noon at Rushnell Funeral Home (103 Mill Street North, Port Hope). 

If desired, donations may be made in Marlene's name to the Alzheimer's Society in Peterborough.
