Christopher William Parish Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christopher William Parish on Sunday, July 27th, 2025, in his 75th year. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Nadine Mae. Near to his heart were his children Clayton, Courtney, Burton, and Lily. He was cherished Grandpa Chris to Hugo and Mae, and a dear brother to Steve, Jill, Julia, Joe, and Bill. Christopher is predeceased by his loving parents Marnie and Bill. He will also be dearly missed by many extended family members.

First and foremost, Chris loved farming, his family, and his pets. Chris is a retired auto worker from General Motors. For years he enjoyed downrigger salmon fishing in his various boats on the Great Lakes. Chris liked to restore and operate antique tractors and farm equipment. He was very wise, an avid reader, and enjoyed arguing with the T.V. and watching old movies. Chris was always up for a competitive game of euchre or cribbage.

A very special thank you to Dr. Francesco Mulé, who has supported and cared for Chris for the past few years.

Visitation will be held on August 7th at Rushnell Funeral Home (103 Mill Street North, Port Hope) beginning at 1pm. Followed by a service at 2pm. Luncheon to follow – directions will be provided.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in Christopher’s name would be welcomed.
