David Neal Blowers, a retired GM employee,  passed away suddenly but peacefully on August 13, 2025, at his home in Campbellcroft Ontario at the age of 67. 

David was born to parents Constance Vera and Albert Anthony Blowers on July 5, 1958 in Nairobi, Kenya. He was predeceased by his brothers Richard and Martin. David is survived by many family and friends, including his children Jeremy (Jamie-lee), Caroline (Andrew) and Kenneth (Carolina). His grand children; Nathan, Emma, DJ, Martin, Jacob. His sister Claire, his nephew Stephen, his sister in law Heather (Pat), his brother in law Tim, his best friend of many years Jim Brown, and his beloved dog Buddy. 

David was an avid outdoors man, enjoying nothing more than exploring a forest, going kayaking, building a fire or going for a long hike through the Ganaraska - always with at least 1 or 2 dogs in tow! David loved to gather around a bonfire with his guitar and play some familiar favourites by Neil Young or Gordon Lightfoot. 

David was a generous man, quietly donating to many causes close to his heart, including sponsoring children in Africa and animal related charities. He spent many years taking care of his aging mother, even moving to Meaford to be with her when she needed him. 

David loved to camp, and had many adventures with his sister and friends over the year, including an unforgettable return trip back home to Africa to visit family. He was a loving grand-dad, an animal lover to his core, and a kind man with an infectious laugh who will be deeply missed by his family. 

A small celebration of life will be held to honour David with his closest friends and family later this month.
