Oh sweet fiery Iris. I had the pleasure of working alongside Iris for many years at Dalewood. I was a young girl and she was many years my senior, but she became my friend, my work Mom (always looking out for me) and a mentor in the industry that I spent 15 years in. We shared the love of laughter to make each day brighter, and boy did we have some fun. I still wear the silver bracelet she brought me back from Scotland, and I still put black pepper on cottage cheese because she told me it’s the only way to eat it. I will forever cherish my time with her, she was one of a kind and will be missed by so many. My condolences to her family and extended friends.
