Ellen and Megyn, so sincerely sorry to hear of Chris’s passing. Chris was always there when we needed him. From helping Us with the yearly haying to assisting us out of the field when Don would get the tractor stuck in the spring. Not to mention the time he spent pitching batting
practice to the Girls’ softball team we coached back in the day. Having been our neighbours for over 30 years, we considered you family. You will be missed by many. Please accept our deepest condolences.

Ellen,Meghan,Joe, Hazel,Peggy and Randy and the extended Cook family. We were shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Chris passing. Many years were spent at hockey arenas or ball fields in our earlier years. Although we didnt see Chris and Ellen often lately they were true friends. Cherish your memories.

So sad to learn of Chris’ passing. He and Ellen were like my second parents growing up. I may have spent more time at their home than my own during those years lol. I will always fondly remember the pancake and bacon breakfasts he so often made for us on weekends. As well as the pog slammers he hand crafted for Megan and I (we always cleaned up with those back in the days of pogs lol).
I am so very sorry for your loss Megan and Ellen.

Our heartfelt condolences to Ellen and Megan and to all the Cook family. We lived in Harwood just 2 doors from Chris and Ellen but it has been 22 years now since we have moved away to Bancroft. Always remember him as a good neighbour who always took time to chat.
