Betty Irene Brooks (nee Martinell) passed away at Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg on Sunday, October 12, 2025, in her 88th year. Betty was predeceased by her husband, Robert Brooks. Dear mother to Charles Brooks (Sharon) and Rosemary Buttar (Larry). Loving grandma to Steve (Sharon), Candice, Mackenzie (Tristan), and Jacob (Samantha). Adoring great-grandma of Georgia, June, Nolan, Nixon, Camryn, Addison, and Drew. Sister-in-law to Bruce Brooks (Linda), Terry Brooks, and Wilma Martinell. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Welcome Cemetery.
