With love and gratitude for a life well lived, a proud farmer whose hard work touched the lives of so many, we share the passing of Tom Markovski, who left this world peacefully at Ed’s House Cobourg surrounded by his loving family, on November 25th, 2025 in his 87th year.

Tom Markovski, beloved husband to the late Shirley Markovski.  He will be greatly missed by his children, Shawn Markovski (Christina) and Stefan Markovski (Allison).  Loving Grandfather of Brittany Markovski, Ashley Markovski (Sean), Stephani Heykoop (Brad) and Graclyn Markovski (Matt). Great Grandfather of Hendrik, Jaeger and Harrison.  Loving brother of Seymour (Mara) and dearest friend of Lydia (Dave), Lisa Ferguson and brother-in-law Elwood Fenton. Tom will be missed by Jake Smelt, Calista (Kyle), Erika (Nate), Connor (Katelyn) and Emily (Adam), Jaxon, Asher and Paisley, as well as his many friends and extended family.

The family wishes to thank all the wonderful staff at Ed’s House in Cobourg for their warmth, care and upmost compassion during his last days. 

Family and friends will be received at Rushnell Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope on Sunday November 30th from 4-6pm.  Funeral Service will be held on Monday December 1, 2025 at 11am in the chapel.  Interment Port Hope Union Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy, donations to Ed’s House Hospice in Cobourg would be appreciated.

Toms love and legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
