LITTLE, Gary Allan

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gary Allan Little on December 8th 2025. 

A son to Hazel and Harold. Brother to Dennis (Barb) and Laurie (Dorval).

He was a teacher and principal and a cherished friend to everyone he met. He had many hobbies and interests but his love of nature was in his soul. He loved walking, birding and sharing his knowledge and love of nature with his whole family. He loved spending time with his friends and family entertaining and would tell the best stories, laughing the loudest at all of his jokes and funny mishaps. He was a caring and doting husband to Susan, they had a shared love of adventure, fun and family. He was a wonderful father to Lisa, Lainey and Keelan, always there to help, listen and lend a hand whenever needed. He loved being surrounded by all his girls - even when they were singing too loud! He was a great friend and support to his son in laws Matt, Scott and Michael. And a loved uncle to his many nieces and nephews. But his favourite thing in the world was being Popsie to his grandkids, Dalen, Bethany, Grayson, Desmond and Ellis. He played endlessly, taught them, listened to them, laughed with them and loved them more than anything. 

His infectious laugh and endless stories will be missed dearly.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at Rushnell Funeral Home, 130 Mill Street North, Port Hope on Sunday December 14th, 2025 from 4-7pm.
