With great sadness we announce the passing of Howard Van Neste on December 30th, 2025, at his home in Port Hope. Loving husband of Judith Van Neste. Dear brother of Marcel, Maurice, Paul, half-brother Stanley, and the late Ravena, Rodger, and Bob.

Howard was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus since 1991, and spent many years working alongside his brothers.

Visitation for Howard will take place on Monday, January 5th, from 2-4pm, and 5-7pm at Rushnell Funeral Home (103 Mill Street North, Port Hope). A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Church (155 Walton Street, Port Hope) on Tuesday, January 6th, at 10am. Interment will follow at Port Hope Union Cemetery (114 Toronto Road, Port Hope).
