Don Grimshaw passed away peacefully on Monday, January 5th, 2026, in Port Hope. Beloved husband of Judy Grimshaw (née Lawrence). Loving father of Les Grimshaw (Christine) and Mike Grimshaw (Shanna Fox). Proud grandpa of Lorelei Grimshaw and Charlotte Grimshaw. Cherished brother of Dave Grimshaw (Marg), and the late Jim Grimshaw. Dear brother-in-law of Joan Kampjes (Rick), Bill Lawrence (Denise), the late John Lawrence (Edna-Marie), and the late Bob Lawrence.

At Don’s request there will be no funeral service.

There will be a private gathering for the interment of Don’s ashes at the Port Hope Union Cemetery, in the columbarium, at 114 Toronto Road, in Port Hope.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Extendicare Port Hope’s Activation program, or the charity of your choice, with thanks and much appreciation by his family.

Special thank you to the staff of Extendicare Port Hope for their wonderful care. They became his extended family for the three and a half years he lived there. Our family are so very grateful.
