Edward Franciss Brush 

September 15, 1951 - January 30, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edward Franciss Brush, who passed away on January 30, 2026, at the age of 74, in Port Hope, Ontario.

Ed was a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his children: Ed Brush (wife Ainsley), Steve Brush, Krystle Brush (fiance Owen), Chris Brush (wife Lisa), and Samantha Brush. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren Shaylin, Mallorie, Tyler, Dylan, Rachel, Alyssa, Logan, Liliana, Charlie-Ann and Katie and great-grandchildren Jayson, Abigail, and Charlie.

Ed was known for his quick wit, his love of conversation, and his unforgettable sense of humor. He truly had the gift of the gab and could strike up a conversation with anyone. One of the great joys of his life was portraying Santa Claus for many years, spreading cheer and laughter to children and families wherever he went. It was a role he took to heart and one that perfectly matched his warm spirit and love for making others smile.

Ed’s legacy will live on through the many lives he touched with his kindness, stories, and laughter. He will be remembered for his generous heart, playful nature, and the love he had for his family.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
