BRENNAN, Michael Joseph

Peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital on February 4, 2026 at the age of 97.  Loving husband of Joan and the late Roxann.  Beloved father of Therese (Peter) Brennan-Hunt and the late Anne Louise and Terrance Brennan.  Step father to Christopher (Charlene) Travers and Patricia Travers.  Cherished grandpa of many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Dear brother of Karen (Larry) Brintnell, Monica (Burt) Scobie and the late Josephine (Ralph) McLeod.  Pre deceased by his parents Vincent and Nora Brennan.  Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. 

Michael was a proud and dedicated member of the Ontario Provincial Police for more than 25 years, and he truly loved the career he devoted himself to.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday February 8, 2026 at Rushnell Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope from 2-4pm.  Funeral Mass will be held on Monday February 9, 2026 at Our Lady of Mercy 155 Walton Street, Port Hope at 11am.  Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery.
