It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley Jean Soos on Saturday, February 21st, 2026 at 85 years, in Cobourg, Ontario. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Leslie Steven Soos, and her parents Bernard and Jean Anderson Butler. Beloved mother of Diane Soos, Nick Soos (Shelly), Les Soos (Karen), Eric Soos, David Soos, and Dale Soos (Dawn). Cherished grandmother of Michael Soos (Kayla) and great-grandson Stephen Soos, Lucas Soos, Laura Soos, Isabella Soos, and Mathew Soos. Dear sister of Lois Lovshin and Mary Bax.

Friends and family will be received for visitation on Thursday, February 26th, 2026 from 2-4pm, and 7-9pm, at Rushnell Funeral Home (103 Mill Street North, Port Hope).
