MILLER, Susan Dianne

Previously of Lindsay, Ontario, passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 2, 2026 at Extendicare Cobourg at the age of 84.

Susan Miller is survived by children Todd Miller and Carrie Severn, sister Katharine (Frank) Bylsma, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by parents Edwin and Thelma Foster and brother David Foster. Will be sadly missed by her ex-husband Peter Miller.

Born November 16th, 1941 in Simcoe, Ontario to Edwin and Thelma Foster. Susan graduated from Bowmanville High School, the Nursing school at Peterborough, Ontario, then went on to a dedicated career as a Registered Nurse after spending many years raising her family.  Susan was a dedicated longtime member of the Catholic Church.

Mom loved country drives, gardening and then puzzles in her later years. Mom’s independent and thoughtful personality was greatly appreciated by all that met her.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday April 11, 2026 at Rushnell Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope from 10-11 am.  Funeral Service to follow at 11 am.  As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
