Norman Edward Parker Obituary

PARKER, Norman Edward

Peacefully, on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Northumberland Hills Hospital, surrounded by his family, Norman passed away at the age of 93.

Beloved husband of the late Beverly Beryl Parker (née Broadfoot). Loving father of Neil (Cathy), Debbie Chambers, Kimberly (Bob) Beauchemin, and Janice (David) Spadafore, and cherished father-in-law of Tom Wilkinson. Predeceased by his children Pat Wilkinson and Brian Parker. Norman was a proud grandfather to many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, all of whom he adored, and will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Born in Montreal, Norman moved to Toronto as a teenager, where he met the love of his life, Beverly, and together they built a wonderful life and raised their family. The young family later settled in Ajax. After retirement, Norm and Bev made their home in the Salem area, enjoying summers in Ontario and spending their winter months in Florida.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday June 7, 2026 at Rushnell Funeral Home 103 Mill Street North Port Hope from 2-3 pm.  Family Service to follow at 3pm.  Interment Monday at Salem Cemetery.

The family extends their sincere gratitude to the nurses and staff of 2B at Northumberland Hills Hospital for their kindness, compassion, and exceptional care during Norman's stay.
