A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great‑grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 4th, 2026, in her 77th year, at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, with her loving family by her side. 

She is survived by her devoted husband of over 57 years, Kenneth Wayne Henderson, and by her children Robert (Shelley) Henderson, Trena (Tonnie) DeBruijn, and Chrystal (Amy) Henderson. Gail will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Justin (Emily) Henderson, Matthew Henderson, Nicholas DeBruijn, Nathan DeBruijn, and by her great‑grandson Bennett Henderson.

Born in Bowmanville, Ontario, to Trewin and Alice Ray Scott, Gail is also survived by her brothers, Gary Scott (who was her twin), Wayne (Diane) Scott, her brother in law Donald Henderson as well as her nieces and nephew.

Gail spent most of her life in the Port Hope area, where she found joy in reading, baking, travelling, and—above all—devoting her time and love to her family. She lived a life filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering affection.

Honouring Gail’s wishes, a private family service will be held. 

As she always loved to say, “I love you to the moon and back.”  She will be forever missed.
