Robert Larry "Bob" Munro Obituary

Robert “Bob” Munro passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his beloved wife, Sandra, his sister Gale, his niece Heather, and his dear friend Mike.


Bob passed away in his 78th year, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and meaningful connections.


He was the devoted husband of Sandra (née Sheppard) for nearly 51 wonderful years. Together they built a life rich in love, family, friendship, and countless treasured moments. Bob was also a proud and loving father to Scott (Claire) and Kevin (DeeAnn), and nothing brought him greater happiness than being with his family.


A devoted Grandfather and “GB,” he will be deeply missed by Ava, Sadie, Mason, and Thaelyn, who brought immeasurable joy and pride to his life. His love, laughter, wisdom, and unwavering support will remain in their hearts always.


Bob will be fondly remembered for his kindness, warm sense of humour, and the genuine connections he shared with family and friends. He touched many lives with his caring spirit and leaves a lasting legacy of love, and compassion that will continue to inspire all who knew him.

 


The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Ed’s House for the exceptional care, kindness, and compassion they provided during Bob’s stay. Their support brought comfort to Bob and his loved ones during a difficult time and will always be remembered with sincere appreciation.


Family and friends will be received on Sunday June 14, 2026 at Rushnell Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North Port Hope, from 1-4 pm.  Private Family Interment Monday June 15, 2026 at Union Cemetery.
