To: Colonel Myra and family and The Pritchett Families
While Colonel Wayne is no longer with us here on earth, it’s wonderful to know that he is now with the Saviour he loved and proclaimed in many ways to many people including us. We remember his powerful preaching and Bible teachings during our brigade days in Officer training. It was always a blessing to sit under his preaching over the years at various Salvation Army Functions. As you celebrate his “Promotion to Glory” and in the days ahead, please remember you are being lifted on the wings of prayer.
May the grace and peace of your Lord strengthen and keep you on this journey.
Isaiah says, “those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength, they shall mount up on wings as eagles, they shall walk and not faint, run and not grow weary.
God bless you all
Prayerfully Yours

A true scholar of the Word and a gentleman. Intelligent, an excellent communicator and preacher of the Truth. A fine example of an officer and a human being. I grieve his loss but am comforted to know he is received into the arms of his Saviour. My heartfelt condolences to all who loved him.

Dear Myra and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. While we celebrate Wayne’s Promotion to Glory, we know that his passing is deeply felt by all of you. I have always counted it a privilege to have assisted you both at St. John’s Citadel upon my commissioning in 1986. We remember Wayne’s sermons and have always considered him a great preacher and teacher of the Word. We are so grateful for his godly influence on both of us! May God’s strength and grace be yours in these days. Blessings, Eddie and Genevera

Wayne has been my Brother in Law for 51 years. In all our interactions over the years, one thing is for sure, he truly loved God and he loved his family. We loved him too, we loved his cooking, loved his silliness, and we loved his genuine spirit. Wayne, had many blessings in his life and Myra was certainly one of them. Her unwavering care and concern has been second to none.
This world has lost a very special man, Wayne’s influence will live on in our family.

Wayne was family to my family. He and Myra were my parent’s dearest friends for more than 30 years. I have so many memories of the four of them both in deep religious discussions or in fits of hysterical laughter. Wayne’s laugh was contagious. He loved to be silly. But he also loved to preach and teach.
I am forever grateful for how he and Myra both enriched my parent’s lives.
But he was also deeply influential over my life. He often challenged me by asking difficult questions and prompting me to think critically.
I always held him in high regard and admired him a great deal.
My sincere condolences to all the family on this tremendous loss. Much love to you all as you celebrate this wonderful, wonderful man.
