Hodgson, Marion Aleda

At Northumberland Hills Hospital on July 8th, 2026 in her 99th year. Marion Dickinson, beloved wife of the late Nelson Hodgson. Dear mother of Tom (Carol), Ralph (deceased), Fred, and George. Loving grandmother of Bil, Ben (Melissa), Michelle (Brandon), Lucas (Erin), Elise (Sean), Geoff (Carla), Rae (Kristin), and Arin. Great grandmother to Brigid, Naomi, Cohen, Aleda, Callum, Tyler, Michael, Gwyneth, Evelyn, Miles, Dominic and Christopher.

Marion was an active and beloved member of St. John's Anglican Church for decades. She served as a Sunday school helper and a member of the Women's Auxiliary, spearheaded the annual Christmas Story, and opened the Treasure Trove nearly 60 years ago. In 2018, she was honoured with the Order of the Diocese of Toronto in recognition of her years of dedicated service.

Friends are invited to call at the Rushnell Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street N, Port Hope on Tuesday July 14th, 2026 from 2:00-4:00pm & 6:00-8:00pm. Service will be held Wednesday July 15th at 10:30am at Rushnell Funeral Home. Interment at Welcome Church Cemetery.
