Met Ann at the Coverdale Tennis Club in Cobourg and even after tennis ended for both of us enjoyed seeing her when out and about. Please accept my sincere condolences. She was a lovely lady.

I am sad to hear of Ann’s passing. I first met Ann at line dancing in 1994. We would go all over the place with our dance group. We often would reminisce about one trip in particular - to Kitchener where we had the best of times, dancing all day and the chatting all night.
When line dancing stopped, we carried on with our weekly meetings, this time though in the form of a ladies lunch. Our ladies lunch often had visitors come and go, but Ann, Lynn and I were always there. We had these lunches for 20+ years!
As others have said, Ann was able to converse about so many different things. She was a wealth of information, and always entertaining. I hope you’re up there now entertaining everybody with your stories about council meetings, operas, open houses… and the list goes on.
Our loss, is heaven’s gain.
Rest in peace my very dear friend.

I met Ann and Lynnat bridge at the Odd fellows building. Ann was generous, interesting, interested lady who would light up when discussing music, operas she had recently enjoyed. She seemed to know all about municipal issues. She had a loyal group of friends, many were from childhood. She was devoted to her sister Lynn and never complained about the changing health issues. She was welcoming and allowed a newbie such as myself to join in on her group of excellent players. Last time I saw Ann while at the hospital after she fell she was still the positive, enthusiastic person with a sweet tooth. RIP dear Ann

Ann would often drop into my office at Victoria Hall and we would put the Town to rights. She and Lynn were very supportive patrons of the local arts community. I was thrilled to meet her again at Roseglen a few months ago. We chatted about past concerts and Cobourg’s glory days. I was so sorry to learn of her passing.

I worked with Ann at Bell Canada in Oshawa for a period of time. It was really a full-circle moment for me to work with Ann, having had Ann's dear sister Lynn (Miss Barr to me of course) as my wonderful kindergarten teacher at St. Michael's school in Cobourg.
Ann was well respected at Bell by her many colleagues and was renowned for her Bell knowledge and technical expertise. As mentioned in another tribute posted here, Ann had a great sense of humour, bringing smiles and joy to those who worked with her.
My deepest condolences to Ann's family. Thank you for providing such a beautiful picture of Ann. God bless and rest in peace Ann.
