WRIGHT, Carol Ann

Peacefully, surrounded by care and compassion, on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at Ed's House Hospice in Cobourg, Carol passed away at the age of 79.

Carol was the devoted and loving wife of the late Doug (2005), with whom she shared many treasured years. She was a beloved and devoted mother to Teresa, Kenny, Dawn (Doug), and the late John (2025), whose memory she carried close to her heart. She will be deeply missed by her siblings Joan, Marion, Ronny and Randy, and was predeceased by her brother Ross. Carol was a proud and cherished grandmother to Melissa, Lindsey, Billy, Katrinna, Sabrinna, Evan, Curtis, Kayla, Colin and great grandmother to Anthony, Sean and Lukas each of whom brought her immeasurable joy and pride.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Carol's life on Sunday, August 16, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Port Hope Masonic Hall, 54 Toronto Road, Port Hope. Words of Remembrance will be shared at 12:00 p.m. Carol will be laid to rest beside her beloved Doug in Milton, Ontario. Cremation has taken place.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Mule and the compassionate staff at Northumberland Hills Hospital and Ed's House Hospice for the exceptional care, kindness, and dignity shown to Carol during her final days.
