Burtch, John Harvey (Jack) Born in Port Hope on August 30, 1923, passed away peacefully at his residence in Port Hope On Sunday November 7, 2010. Jack Burtch beloved husband of Betty Lowthian for over 60 years. Jack served with the Royal Canadian Navy during WW II and was a member of Branch 30 Royal Canadian Legion, Port Hope. Jack also loved sports and was a devoted Blue Jays Fan. Dear father of Peter Burtch (Maureen) of Stouffville, Kathleen (Wally Tomie) of Calgary and the late Allan. Survived by grandchildren Bryan and Elyse Tomie. Brother of Lois Burtch and the late Clifford Burtch. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope Tuesday from 7-9 pm. Funeral Service Wednesday 11 am. Interment, Welcome Church Cemetery.
