Melissa Allison
Managing Funeral Director

Melissa represents the third generation of the Allison family to become a funeral director, serving the Port Hope community where she was born and raised. From a young age, Melissa was determined to continue her family’s legacy in funeral services. She earned her funeral services diploma from Humber College in 2017. After her graduation, Melissa gained experience with a firm in the Greater Toronto Area before eagerly returning to Allison Funeral Home as a funeral director in November 2019. Outside of her professional life, Melissa loves spending time with her husband, Colin, and friends.

Ashley Corkin
Funeral Director

Ashley has recently joined Allison Funeral Home as of May 2024. Raised in Pickering, she completed Centennial College's Environmental Technician program in 2021. Shortly after, she returned to school for Humber College's Funeral Director program and gained experience in the Greater Toronto Area and Durham Region, before moving to Port Hope after graduating in 2024. In her personal life, Ashley enjoys creative writing, films, and tending her aquarium.
