Obituary of Robert F. MacDonald

Robert F. (Bob) MacDonald It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Robert F. (Bob) MacDonald on Sunday July 7th in the comfort of his own home. Bob, in his 65th year, will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Valerie, son and best friend Bob, and daughter in law Colleen. He was a loving PopPa and number one fan of his grandsons Jamie and Jake. He will be missed by boxer Sniffy. He is also survived by his sister Shirley, and members of his large and extended family. Bob will be also missed by many life-long and special friends including those from the old gang. Bob was a long-time hot rod enthusiast, a businessman and had the ability to build and fix anything. He had owned and operated several businesses including TransTek Transmission and most recently, House Minders Unlimited. He was dedicated to his family and was always willing to help. He was always eager to learn new things and loved to obtain new information and skills, and enthusiastic to pass along all he learned. He had a twinkle in his eye and a wonderful sense of humour. Bob was known for his patience and for being a wonderful Dad and PopPa. At Bob's request there will be no service. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be forwarded to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association.
