Ashby, Leonard (Len) Passed away on Tuesday December 3, 2013 at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg. Beloved husband of the late Ida Olive (nee: Hamilton). Leaving his daughters Gwen Duck (Rennie) of Port Hope, Margaret Grimshaw (Dave) of Pickering and Lee-Anne Ashby of Hanmer. Grandpa leaves his grandchildren Stephanie Jackson (Matt) & Brandon Duck (Caitlin), Melissa Grimshaw (Jeff) & Stephen Grimshaw (Lisa), Patrick Napier (Amy) & Colin Napier, and great-grandchildren Molly and Ava Grimshaw and Malcolm Jackson. Survived by brother Fred and sister Jean Caine. Pre-deceased by his parents and brother George. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope on Thursday 7-9 pm. Funeral Service at St. Mark's Anglican Church, 51 King Street, Port Hope on Friday 11 am. Followed by cremation. Reception at Port Hope Royal Canadian Legion.
