My deepest sympathy to the family of Mrs. Lloyd and to her friends and neighbours of both places she called home. No matter our age, we are drawn to our mother....be it a phone call to hear her voice; a visit to reminisce, gain wisdom and advice...or to have another of her wonderful hugs that possess the power to make everything right again. I came across a quote a few days ago, and I find it most fitting: "A mother is the truest friend we have.
When friends rejoice with us in our sunshine
and desert us when troubles thicken around us,
she still clings to us, and endeavors by her kind
precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of
darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts".

My daughter and I have been fortunate to meet some of Mrs. Lloyd's children and their children....Rosemary & Neil, Brad & Blair; Richard & Karen; Roly & Brenda and Brent, Terry & Colleen....I pray for all of her family members who mourn her death.
Each of you and your children and your children's children all have many beautiful memories and nothing can take those away and the many photos and stories to share with each other and stories that others will share with you will give you all needed strength in this sad time and in the difficult times ahead. Please know that many are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. Lean on each other...for it is our mum who was one of the first people in our lives to display what love is, in her every word and deed. Take care.
