My deepest condolences to the family , I only knew Lloyd for a short time but he and his wife Doe touched my heart deeply . I could see in his smile what a special man he was . You will be truly missed my friend , thank you very much for the time we got to spend together .

Very sorry to hear of Lloyd's passing. Lloyd and I were school buddies. We both atternded Public and High School in Hearst right from Grade 1 to Grade 12..
Aline and I have attended several Hearst gatherings at his house in Campbelford and Bewdley.

I have already reached out to my dear friend Tammy to convey my sadness over the loss of Lloyd. I spent many overnights at the Rouse household in my earlier teen years and remember Lloyd well for his quirky sense of humour and seeing him at the high school when he was teaching. I've known the family for almost 36 years and they are part of my special memories from growing up. The warmest of condolences to Do' (who I've not had a chance to meet), Tammy, Tracy, Trudy, Trevor and their families at this time. (I went by LeeAnn back then).
My thoughts and prayers are with you Do, and my cousins Tammy, Tracy, Trudy and Trevor and your families.
Uncle Lloyd was the kindest man that I have ever known. He was always there in the happiest and saddest moments of my life, and loved our family. One of my fondest memories are of Uncle Lloyd and Aunt Adeline driving all the way north to Hearst, Ontario to meet my dad William Willis Rouse and I, who drove from Thunder Bay. He wanted to show me where the family homestead had been, and the creek that he and my dad had played in as young boys .... just because I asked where it was.
I never met Lloyd, but he made my sister Do' very happy in the few short years they were together. For this we say "thankyou " . We send our deepest condolences to Do' and all of Lloyd's family in their sad loss. May all the good memories sustain them in the days and weeks ahead. We met Lloyd when Do' and he started courting! I am so glad they found each other and spent some memorable years together. He was a lovely man.
