To my friend John,
I have been truly blessed to have gotten to know you John. Growing up across the street I learned from a very young age to have a healthy fear of going onto your lawn and trampling you're grass. Little did I know the well being of your yard would soon become my responsibility. From our "union" meetings to you driving me to my first job you have always been there for me. Thank you John for being such a great part of my life.
Heaven has gained another great soul. Love you John!
Our hearts are saddened on the day when Uncle John has passed away. He was the big kid to all the nieces and nephews and then to their kids as well. Uncle John always had wonderful stories to tell us kids and always bringing sweets and such. He always made us laugh and always welcomed us to there home.
We remember when Devin ran right off the dock at the cottage and also when we visited with the trailer. You came to our campground one year and dropped off bags of candy for the boys. We must have been at the beach or out, but when we saw the candy, we knew that Uncle John & Aunt Isobel came for a visit. Uncle John made our wedding invitations, napkins and thank-you cards and we still have the remaining ones here in our home. You are an inspiration to other adults to have fun and it's okay to be the big kid.
We are going to miss Uncle John, but we know he's at peace and in a better place. We love you Uncle John. You will be remembered. Our hearts go to Aunt Isobel and the family. We love you, and thanks for being Uncle John.
Dear Isobel, I am so very sorry to hear of John's passing. Sending our love, hugs, strength and prayers during this very sad time. John was such a good, down to earth guy, Charles thought the world of him and so did Wes and I.
