Dear Karen, Leslie and Alexis, I'm deeply sorry about the passing of Stanley. He was a very good man and he truly loved all of you. I'll forever treasure the memories I have of Stan as a grandfather, he always shared with me Alexis pictures when he came to have a tea at Tim Hortons and Harvey's. So Sorry about your loss, may God bless you always.

My deepest condolences to Karen and family. Stan was such a caring and sincere man. His sense of humour will be missed. I remember mistakenly calling him Martin when we first met. So he told to remember "Stan the man".
R.I.P. Stan the man, you will be missed.

<At the horse races at Fort Erie with Stan and Chris Fernandes on August 22, 2012.
What a great day at the races with two very good friends. One of the very many days spent at the races with Stan who entertained with his funny jokes and provided ample racing tips that failed to make me a rich man; however, the memories and fun times were priceless and will always be treasured in my heart.
Jackie and I shall miss him dearly.
Our love, thoughts and prayers go out to Karen, Leslie and all of the family.

This news is unexpected and saddening.
Stan was both a character and a pleasant companion as a schoolmate. With mutual friends, we rekindled those memories with laughter in recent years. We did so at many meetups during the his Gold Cup visits to Barbados
My deep sympathy to his wife and children and many family members and friends who held Stan in a warm, warm place in their hearts.
If I was in better health I would want to join you all in Port Hope to share in the celebration of his life tomorrow.
RIP old buddy, Cossie.

Of all the many Blessings however great or small to have had you for a brother and uncle was the greatest one of all. The family chain is broken now and nothing seems the same but as God takes us one by one the chain will link again. Certainly heaven is rejoicing for another soul has finally reached his true home.
Aunty Karen & Leslie, our deepest and heartfelt sympathy to you. Words are not enough to express the deep hurt you are feeling and we pray that God give you strength to cope with this huge loss. Keep faith in God and he shall pour his love and care on you. (( Hugs ))

My heart is so heavy today. My dad just told me the awful news. Stan was the nicest, kindest man I ever met. Always smiling, always excited to see me and my boyfriend and my son Connor. He always took the time to come say hello whenever he saw us.
I have known Stan my whole life he even came to my wedding back in 2001. I will miss his smile, his kindness, how genuine he was. We saw him alot at McDonald's and Tim Hortons. He will be missed. My condolences to His wife, children and his entire family. My tears are falling down my cheeks but I know he will be in Heaven watching over us all.

I know that words are inadequate at a time like this but I wanted you to know how very sorry I am for your loss. The loss of a spouse is a tragic event and I know the pain and suffering you are experiencing.
It is times like this that our faith is put to the test. We know that we must accept his passing and give thanks for the wonderful life he lived. As sad as it will be, you will always have the memory of him to hold in your hearts.
The Bible reminds us that "Blessed are those that mourn for they shall be comforted." I pray that this will be especially true for you as you mourn your loss.
I pray that God will give you the strength to see you through this sad and difficult time. My thoughts and prayers will be with you all.

Karen, Leslie, Justin and Alexis,
Stan was one of the most charming, friendly, helpful, and loyal people I knew. I feel lucky to have had the chance to be a part of his life and to have him as a part of mine. He was a wonderful man and he always knew how to put a smile on my face. I'll miss hearing a classic Stan joke any time that I saw him. Thank you for sharing him with me over all these years. Sending you all of our deepest sympathies, love, and strength.
Love,
Andrea and Robert McNab
