Battersby, Barbara Yvonne Passed away at Hope Street Terrace Nursing Home, Port Hope, Thursday, June 8, 2017. Barbara Johnston beloved wife of the late Ron Battersby. Loving mother of Cathy (Angelo Sperduti), Bill Battersby (Susan Inkersell), Gord Battersby (Natalie) and the late infant son James Paul. Survived by grandchildren Antony Sperduti (Meghan), Daniel Sperduti (Sarah), Christopher Sperduti, Quinn Battersby (Jessica), Patrick Battersby (Kayla Bennett), Shane Battersby and great-grandchildren Liam, Madeleine and Foster Battersby and Wren Battersby. Sister of Norman Johnston (the late Patricia). The family wish to thank all the staff at Hope Street Terrace for their care and kindness shown to our mother during her battle with Alzheimer Disease. A private family graveside service was held at Welcome Church Cemetery.
