Dan was a very dear friend and we miss him very much. His fishing and hunting trips with Dave were memorable, along with his interesting conversations at the dinner table. We are sure he is in a greater hereafter where the trout are jumping, and the ducks are flying.

'm so sorry to hear of Dan's passing and would like to pass on our sincere condolences. We knew Dan through the maple syrup industry where he influence our young boys take their Maple syrup to the Royal. Dan was one of our Judges at the Orono Fair and his knowledge was and will be forever in our thoughts. Al would ask Dan all about his set up and the new grades that were changing and he gave his opinion. Dan you are a forever name in our household and Maple syrup world. Yournj3 knowledge will travel through us now to help keep your passion alive. To the family Dan was one special man!!!!

I'm so sorry to hear of Dan's passing and would like to pass on my sincere condolences. I knew Dan through the maple syrup industry and had some good discussions with him at his sugar bush in the spring. He was never afraid to express his thoughts on industry issues..

Dan was a long time member of our area Maple Family. His Family in our thoughts as he will be when the sap runs once again in the Spring. He will be missed.
I was so sorry to hear of Dan’s passing. I did dog work with Dan and the Ganaraska Club, and enjoyed his wisdom, experience, and humour. He was a truly fine gentleman. Sincere condolences to his family.
Very sorry to hear of Mr Thomey's passing. I have fond memories growing up around the corner on #28 highway and Mr Thomey allowing me to fish on the property as a young boy. My condolences to the family.
