To the beautiful daughters of Bredin Stapells, I would like to extend my sincere sympathy on his passing. In the mid 1960's I worked as secretary to Mr. Stapells. In addition to legal matters there was also much interaction with The Empire Club of Canada, Pleides Estates, The Retail Council of Canada and The Toronto Star. When I left to become a mother he personally shopped for his gift for my daughter, a duplicate of a white, Spanish, hand-knit blanket once gifted to one of his princess daughters. A couple of years back I unsuccessfully attempted to locate this fine gentleman. I'd been thinking of him and wanted to send a birthday greeting. His memory will live on with his many admirers and, of course, his three daughters and their families. Please accept my sincerest condolences on your loss.
