Please accept my condolences on the loss of Gerry. Gerry would stop in while I was working downtown in a antique shop. It was always a pleasure to see him and hear about his family. He loved and had such pride in each and everyone of you.
I no longer live in the area and just heard of your loss.
Sincerely,
Evelyn

Debra, Mrs. Zealand & family: Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your beloved father, husband, grandfather & great grandfather. Though you will miss him dearly, hopefully by sharing your fond memories of him, it will bring you some level of comfort. From what I know of Mr. Zealand, he had a lot of interests and enjoyed life and the love of his family. That's a pretty good life. You are in my thoughts and prayers as you navigate through this new chapter in your lives.
Love Linda

So sorry for your loss. I will miss seeing Gerry every year at the Port Hope Remembrance Day Service. It was always such a pleasure to share a few stories with him after the service. He was a true gentleman with a constant smile on his face. He respected those who served our country in any way and made me feel proud of my Mountie uniform. May he rest in peace.
My sincere condolences to his family.

We are so sorry for your loss. Gerry was a great person who loved to make you laugh and tell stories. His heritage was very important to him. We are glad he shared some of that with us. Some history that we did not know about our family. He is at peace now. No suffering. We are better for having known him for sure. Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers.

Ah Gerry, you didn't give me a chance to give you one last hug! We were on our way to see you tomorrow and bring a tasty meal for you both. I, we, will miss your smiles and chuckles at our Hope Agricultural Heritage Club events. You truly were one of the most amazing people we have had the privilege of knowing. You will not be forgotten ...
