I just wanted to say that I am so glad I was able to bring mom to Uncle Lewis's service. I could sense the love for one another that you all showed. Even though this was a sad event you celebrated his life beautifully.
For that each of you should be very proud to be able to call him dad, grandpa and greatgrandpa. Ryan, I will never look at tea and cookies again without thinking about your speech. It was very moving! I know he is looking down on each and every one of you feeling proud of the family he raised.

After Lewis sold his farm he came to work for my dad. Dad decided to build a hanger to house his 2 planes. The hammer Lewis was using was ready to fall apart. He knew how to hold the hammer and control it so everything was great for a few days. Dad decided to fix the hammer, thinking that it would make life a lot easier for him. What a mistake that was.
