In the last 15 years I played golf at Rivermead with Robert many times. He was a great guy, played a great game. He had his views but he seemed to have kindness for everyone. I have missed him the past few years and hoped that he was living in comfort. Someone else mentioned Fayetteville. Yes he talked about enjoying his winters there very much. Our condolences to the family.
Vague memories of Bobby from my time growing up in Brockville (I was 11 years younger) before he and I both departed for other locations. I was able to reconnect in last few years and talked with him by phone on occasion. My Canadian family sadly decreased by one. Condolences to Bobby's family, I am trying to make arrangements to attend the funeral and visit my parents resting place in Prescott.
I will always remember our trips to Fayetteville, North Carolina and our times around "The Pool" in Gatineau.
My dear friend will be missed by all that ever met him.

My sincere condolences to the family. Mr. Ness, Bob, was one of my parents friends that I developed a bond with. Always a ready smile and a joke for a young lad, I had many conversations with him over the years and he had an influence on me as I grew up. I know he was close with my entire family. I will keep hold of so many great memories of Bob!
Our deepest sympathies to you and your family. Your dad was a one of a kind such a snappy dresser and a gentleman with a great smile..He's probably looking for a foursome so he can play golf again...
Heartfelt condolences to you, Cheryl, and your family. Your mom and dad were lifelong friends of my parents, and sadly, they're all gone now. I like to think they're planning a huge New Year celebration up there. They'll let us know how much fun they're having with all their friends by way of a snowstorm... a small one!

I’m so glad I got to spend time with Robert and the Ness clan (Michael,Jonathan and my best fried Robin). He was a delight and will be missed.
