I remember dear Sam from decades ago when we (Ford family) were 're-starting' our young lives just off the 5th line..my Dad building our country home.
Catherine and Laura and John, we met Sam on his Dune buggy, of course. I was 16.
He was always fun, respectful and very encouraging. A smart guy, I bumped into him a few years later and he told me he had married. He seemed happy and hopeful.
Sam, the few times you took me on crazy dune buggy rides, and invited me into your
family's home have never been forgotten.
I was having a rough time, city girl/ middle of no-where, and you inspired me to enjoy the small things.
I consider you an old friend.
