Dear George, Heather,Tom, Chris and families ; we are saddened learning of the passing of your Dad. We met him a couple of times at the Retirement Home in Port Hope , and he always shared his sense of humour and brilliant smile, he will be truly missed.
he was a wonderful friend to the Freeman family especially Jim Freeman, many years of camping trips & card playing with both Sheldon & Vivian , he will be greatly missed
I knew Sheldon through my best friend ( her grandfather... better known as, GRANKA ). I will always remember him as being, kind, gentle and ready to drop a joke, at a moments notice. Family gatherings will not be the same, but, I am sure the memories will live on through all who loved him.
Happy to have grown up with an extra grandparent around.

I am a PSW with St Elizabeth’s. I have had the pleasure of seeing Sheldon Wednesday mornings for the last couple of months. It was so nice to walk in his room and see pictures of his children, who I knew as a child. He was so happy about this and so proud of them, both as children and the adults they grew up to be. I can honestly say I have never met a man who was so much fun, happy and positive. Every time I would leave him saying “ have a great day” to which he would reply “ what other kind would I have”. He will really be missed.
