Ernie and Ada were our next door neighbours on Scriven Blvd since 1981. Wonderful people who watched over our place when we were away at work. Ernie, and my mother Edith Woodward, were born within a month of each other in 1919. She often sat on Ernie's veranda where they reminisced about the many things they experienced in their long lives, and the changes they saw. We will remember Ernie.

We have such wonderful memories of Ernie when we became neighbours on Scriven Blvd. in 1997. He was so very welcoming and always had lots of interesting stories of days gone by that he loved to share. Our daughter just reminded us that every time she went to cut the lawn, Ernie would come over and tell her that she shouldn't be cutting the grass and if he was any younger he would do it for her! May He Rest In Peace.
