Uncle Doug I wish we had gotten to spend more time together I'll always remember working with you in the summer at the bait shop, eating those peanut butter and onion sandwiches you would make lol still not to sure how I feel about them as I haven't eaten one since. Always hanging out with Tasha running around in the back yard she was such a beautiful dog! I'll always cherish the time and memories we shared together. I hope your doing well up there say hello to grandma tell her I love and miss her so very much too. Tomorrow would have been her birthday I'll be forever missing you guys rest in peace my dear family love always your niece.

Doug was my grandfather. I didn't know him, had only met him once at my mother's funeral in 2003 in Nova Scotia. He tried to reach out to me and my sister. I was so young I never got in contact with him. He seemed beloved by alot of people, I wish I'd grown to know him.
Rest in peace.
