The news just reached us of Kelly's passing. It's hard to believe someone so vital is no longer with us. We had the privilege of having her as a student at Seneca College. From the first week, we knew she was something special. We looked forward to her good cheer, bright humour, and deep intelligence in and out of class. That she was an accomplished leader before she joined us came as no surprise. We would have expected no less from such a smart, gifted person. To her family and friends, our deepest condolences.
My sincerest sympathies to Kelly's family and friends. It has been many years since I spent time with Kelly but I enjoyed her zest for life. She and I would commiserate when we joined the profession about being the second generation and the expectations that followed.
I pray that you have peace and comfort in the memories you share.

My heart goes out to you at this time and in the days ahead. She had a certain way to bring sunshine to everything and such a warm person. She will always live within our hearts.

To all family members, We extend our deepest sympathy to each of you. We were shocked to learn of Kelly's death and we will mourn her loss. You are all in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. Kelly was much too young to have left us, but she certainly lived a full and active life, in the years that she was with us. I had the pleasure of working with Kelly at Thanberst Hearing Centre in Peterborough, where I was employed by her mom Dianne & Steve Bernath.
