So very sorry to hear of Debbie’s passing.
As far back as I can remember, when I was living on Smith Street (where Cameco is now), Debbie would come calling to see if she could “take care” of me. She would carry me around like her very own stuffed animal.
That was 50 years ago, and I can still vividly recall how kindhearted, compassionate and protective she was.
I will treasure those memories forever, as I am sure, her family and everyone that knew her will never forget how blessed we were to have been part of her legacy.
Kristy Hampel (nee Thorley)

To The Denis Family
Please accept our deepest sympathy on the loss of Debbie. Mike and I were very sad to hear this devestating news. Debbie will be forever remembered by us a a very kind and caring lady. When my Nanna (Muriel Low)lived at The Tower of Hope, Debbie stood out as being especially good to Nanna, and she always spoke so highly of Debbie, which made our hearts happy. Heaven has gained an angel. So very sorry to all for your loss. Kerri and Mike Miller

Sincere condolences to Debbie’s family. We worked together in the mid to late 90’s at “The Tower” and reconnected online over the last few years. Our families also attended the same church. She will be sorely missed.

From across the miles, we are thinking of you... and of Debbie (our niece). Someone mentioned about Debbie's smile or laughter and she is right ( I can hear her laughter ringing in my ears). No matter what came her way, Debbie always had a smile on her face. It is unfortunate that we let our busy lives and schedules get in the way but I will always have fond memories of the Summer weeks we got to spend together as children... At last Debbie, you are in Our Lord's warm embrace... and may you rest in peace.
Jeanne Denis and family.
