Boyko, Phillip Valen

Passed away at Ed's House Hospice, Cobourg on Thursday March 11, 2021. Phillip Boyko beloved husband of Sandra Huby. Dear father of Brett Boyko (Mariah Malczewska) and Allison Boyko. Brother of Lawrence Boyko (Lois), William (Bill) Boyko (Sharon) and the late Peter Boyko. Son of the late Samuel Boyko and Margaret Gashnya. Phill was an exemplary woodturner and his work was well known throughout the community. Phill served the community through his participation as a licensed lay worship leader (LLWL) at Port Hope United Church. As well he served as an assistant director on the Port Hope Fair Board. Phill enjoyed participating in the Northumberland Studio tour. He taught science and art at Centennial Secondary School in Belleville until retirement. A family graveside funeral service will be held at Port Hope Union Cemetery, Toronto Road, Port Hope at a later date.
