Suzanne Leigh Saman ( nee Stover)

It is with broken hearts that we share the sad news of the passing of our beautiful Suzanne, the beloved wife and soulmate of Steve Saman for 27 years and cherished Mother of Jennifer (Shawn) and Kate (Theo).
Suzanne will be deeply missed by her parents, Elaine and Ron Stover of Markham and her brothers, Scott ( Sandra) and Chris ( Cara). Her gentle spirit and love that she shared as a beloved Aunt to Will, Thomas, Mackenzie and Miller will not be forgotten. The Stover and Saman families will forever miss her presence in their lives. She passed away peacefully in Cobourg on March 30th, 2021 after a courageous and tenacious 5-year battle with cancer.
Suzanne was a graduate of Markham District High School and Sir Sandford Fleming College.
Suzanne was a member of local Markham baseball, hockey and Ringette leagues and a member of the Unionville Skating Club for 10 years. After moving to Cobourg, she became a part of the hockey and baseball community. The Cobourg Dragon Boat and Canoe Club and the West Northumberland Wild Hockey organization became a passion for her to support as a volunteer in many aspects. She will be missed by all of those that she worked with.
Everyone in Cobourg knew her for her unselfish kindness, her baking, her organizational skills and her smile and warmth for those she met. The family wishes to thank all of those friends and family that supported Suzanne and Steve during the last five years.
