I have nothing but good memories of your Dad. His silent chuckles through the rearview mirror of whatever vehicle we were in (one didn't know until he showed up - part of the fun of him as our driver, sometimes we would have a huge BUS with a dozen or fewer!) to Peterborough and back Monday - Friday for over 2 years! So safe, so reliable and so patient. I knew him from before and after that of course but I can still see those eyes! He was one of the good guys, Lydia Bradshaw PS any red-heads left? ;- )

My condolences to the family. I knew Ron as I was growing up in Port Hope, we had attended school together, and I believe we even shared some classes together, a lot of time has passed and we caught up as friends on Facebook. I was well aware his father was a baker and taxi company owner, although I don’t believe I ever knowingly bumped into him, although I have little to no doubt we’ve spoken in the past.
