My brother, my friend and my protector. Nothing can ever ease the pain of losing a sibling but my memories will lift me up when I'm feeling low. I will giggle when I think of you, I will smile when I think of you and I will cry when I think of you. You have always been the strong, quietly stoic older brother, and I knew I would always be able to reach out to you for advice or a chuckle. I will forever think of you when I hear the song patience as no one in my opinion could sing it like you. I remember pillow case escapes through the back yard and lien to forts in the woods. I remember barn dances at Curtis Point. I remember the first day that you fell in love with Dawn. How smitten you were and how you've made the most amazing husband all these years. I remember your worry and pain at watching your baby boy Luke struggle to thrive. You are in my opinion a hero... And heros deserve to be remembered and talked about. I promise you that! To always talk about you! To share the stories, the memories. Continue to mess up the owl tea towel and to just in general be a presence that your lovely wife can giggle at.
