Walking with her cheerful corgi companions around the TCS campus Betty was just like the Queen.She had an enduring love for animals .As the wife of a housemaster at the school she had a huge impact on the lives of many of the students she encountered in many different ways. I fondly remember her lovely smile and heartful greetings.She adored her family and friends and will be greatly missed.

For me, Auntie Betty was an integral part of our Port Hope family circle. I have many fond memories of her at home, at the lake, and in the TCS dining room! As a kid, I admired her greatly because she had not just one but TWO dogs! I'm sure I begged my parents to be more like Auntie Betty for this reason :-) This image shows Betty and my mum in 2016 and also way back in 1970-something! She was a lovely lady, and she will be very much missed.

Knowing Betty was a very rewarding experience. Betty was a very intelligent and caring person and always said what was on her mind and that is a very great quality. Loving husband to Ron and a great mother to Shelley, Valery and mother in law to Bob and nana to Justin and Matt. Betty will surely be missed. Betty was a dear friend to Gail and i.
